BBFS helps Bob take charge of his recovery
Bob suffered an ischemic stroke in 2019, which left him with the long-term impacts of reduced control and balance, weakness on his left side and the need to mobilise with a foot brace and four-wheel walker.
Now exercise has become part of Bob’s daily routine, visiting BBFS twice a week with his support worker.
“It’s an opportunity to socialise with other members, meet new people and it gives structure and routine to my week” says Bob.
Bob has an exercise program individually tailored to his needs, which says “helps me feel stronger and more capable on my feet when doing everyday tasks”.
